your future. Responsibilities The Mayo Clinic Department of
Psychiatry and Psychology seeks an exceptional, junior or
mid-career, board-certified addictions psychiatrist to join the
Division of Addiction Psychiatry and Psychology. The position
involves outpatient care of individuals with substance use
disorders, as well as working with patients in the medication
assisted therapy clinic. As an academic institution, active
engagement in research and education is expected with new resources
available for program development and scholarly pursuits. Faculty
appointment will be commensurate with experience.
Education/supervision opportunities are abundant with students,
residents, and addiction fellows. Opportunities to collaborate with
closely aligned services in pain management, transplant psychiatry,
and community-based care are also available. Mayo Clinic Addiction
Services have a nearly 50-year legacy of providing
psychiatrist-directed holistic addiction treatment in outpatient
settings. The Mayo model of care involves a multi-disciplinary team
offering evidenced-based biologic and psychosocial treatments in a
patient-focused, highly professional, and compassionate
environment. Our practice is within driving distance to the major

Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota
and have ABPN certification in psychiatry with added certification
in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine.
