Response Team - Support Staff

Location: IN PERSON/MOBILE. St. Cloud Area.

Hours: 7 days on/7 days off. 5pm - 5am.

Rate: $17 per hour.

Purpose Statement: The role of the Emergency Response Team is to respond to crisis and provide support, problem solving, and de-escalation to individuals receiving disability services. A vehicle will be provided upon passing a Driver Record History check.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Answer the Response Team phone all of the time during scheduled shift. Responding in person when needed.

+ Respond with professionalism and empathy to all calls from staff or persons served

+ Utilize de-escalation techniques to support individuals in crisis

+ Complete scheduled rounds and visits at sites

+ Document all calls and interactions with persons served

+ Report any incidents per the Incident Report process

+ Follow up with persons served and staff after a crisis

+ Report any concerns regarding building conditions to the Residential Supervisor and Property Management

+ Complete scheduled rounds and visits at sites

+ Communicate any concerns regarding staffing or services to the Residential Supervisor and regional HR team

+ During scheduled site visits, check MAR-s, Outcome Trackers, Behavior Trackers, activity logs and financial trackers for errors

+ MAARC reporting weekend from Friday at 5pm through Monday at 5am

+ Incident reporting when there is no staff on duty for the person served

+ Complete shift reports at the end of each shift

+ Respond to emails within 24-48 hours

+ Complete an incident report for any incident that happened during the shift at sites that do not have 24 hour staffing, follow up at sites with 24 hour staffing to ensure report completion

+ Assist site staff with getting individuals to the hospital if needed

+ Participate in monthly team training

+ Ensure GPS location is on when clocking in

Required Skills and Experience: (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities)

+ High school diploma/ GED required

+ Must have a valid drivers license

+ Must be comfortable with driving at night, during rain storms, or in the winter

+ Ability to pass a background check with the Department of Health and Human Services

+ Possess skills to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff and other customers

+ Be punctual with a good attendance record

+ Experience in de-escalation and crisis intervention

Additional Skills and Experience: (Preferred or Helpful)

+ Direct Care experience

+ Knowledgeable on 245D

+ Experience with Google Drive
