ABOUT THE ROLE As an Optician, you’ll work directly with patients to help them choose eyewear that meets both their visual needs and personal style—based on the doctor’s prescription and recommendations. You’ll guide them through frame selection, lens options, fitting, adjustments, and repairs, creating a seamless and supportive experience from exam to eyewear. No optical experience? That’s okay—we’re happy to train the right person. What we’re looking for is someone who is self-motivated, hardworking, and eager to stay engaged throughout the day. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Educate patients on lens options, materials, and treatments - Recommend and fit eyewear to suit prescriptions and personal style - Adjust, troubleshoot, and repair glasses with confidence - Inspect and verify quality of incoming eyewear orders - Manage optical orders through lab systems - Assist in managing frame inventory - Learn and assist with in-house edging and lab work - Stay current on frame trends and product knowledge - Collaborate with doctors and team to ensure seamless patient care - Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting optical environment - Verify and explain vision benefits and coverage for optical purchases - Support optical teammates with adjustments, fittings, and busy times PIc76e77003449-25405-37856700
