As a Staff Pharmacist, you will manage the operation of the pharmacy, which includes counseling patients, overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians, and ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions. Dispense prescription medications and provide accurate medication information to patients Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians and assistants Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions Manage the pharmaceutics area in inventory control, purchasing, and quality assurance Maintain records of all medications in accordance to regulatory requirements Administer immunizations as per the legal scope of pharmacy practice Promote health and wellness initiatives as per Walmart's policies and procedures Strong knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology Excellent communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and computer systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed Pharmacist in the state of employment Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), preferred but not required
