seeking a skilled Radiology Manager for a 13 week travel assignment

Qualifications:/n/n /n/t - One year’s experience as a Radiology
Manager/n/t - Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)/n /n/nPreferred
Qualifications:/n/n /n/t - Current ACLS, PALS Certification/n/t -
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations/n/t - Current
ARRT Certification/n/t - Additional certifications may be required
depending on specialty/n /n/nSummary:/n/n The Radiology Manager
oversees and coordinates the radiology department's operations,
ensuring efficient and high-quality imaging services. This role
encompasses managing radiologic technologists, implementing
policies and procedures, maintaining equipment, and collaborating
with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care. The
position requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, critical
thinking abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to
upholding the highest standards of patient safety and professional
ethics. /n/nEssential Work Functions:/n/n /n/t - Oversees daily
operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficient workflow
and high-quality imaging services/n/t - Manages and schedules
radiologic technologists, ensuring adequate staffing levels/n/t -
Provides clinical guidance and mentorship to radiologic
technologists/n/t - Develops and implements policies, procedures,
and quality control measures for the radiology department/n/t -
Maintains and ensures the proper functioning of radiology
equipment/n/t - Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare
professionals to coordinate patient care and imaging services/n/t -
Monitors and evaluates the quality of imaging studies, implementing
improvements as necessary/n/t - Ensures compliance with regulatory
requirements and accreditation standards/n/t - Maintains accurate
documentation and records related to radiology services/n/t -
Facilitates effective communication between radiologic
technologists, patients, families, and other healthcare team
members/n/t - Addresses and resolves patient and family concerns
related to radiology services/n/t - Promotes a culture of safety
and continuous quality improvement within the radiology
department/n/t - Participates in budgeting and financial management
for the radiology department/n/t - Maintains confidentiality of
patients and staff information/n/t - Follows and enforces hospital
safety rules and procedures/n/t - Identifies and reports unsafe
work conditions, implementing corrective actions as needed/n/t -
Ensures adherence to the facility's Exposure Control Plan based on
OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogen Standard and CDC guidelines for
healthcare personnel/n /n/nRequired Essential Skills:/n/n /n/t -
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal
communication skills/n/t - The ability to read, write, &
communicate in the English language is required/n/t - Ability to
read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions,
and proficiency in PC skills/n/t - Physical Abilities - Remain in a
stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs),
pushing, pulling, bending/n/t - Interpersonal Skills - To work
effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and
ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism/n/t -
Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation,
pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with
procedures and/or using department equipment./n/t - Mental
Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the
general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well
as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to
contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and
