Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based social
worker position is available from March 26, 2026, through June 12,
2026, serving elementary students in grades K-5 in Minneapolis, MN.
This contract role supports the social and emotional development of
young learners within the school setting. Responsibilities: -
Provide individual and group counseling to students to address
social, emotional, and behavioral needs. - Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement
intervention plans. - Conduct assessments and develop support plans
that promote student well-being and academic success. - Connect
families with community resources and support services. - Maintain
accurate records and comply with confidentiality guidelines and
school policies. Qualifications: - Masters degree in Social Work
(MSW) is required. - Tier 3 or Tier 4 social work license valid in
Minnesota. - Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
effectively collaborate with students, families, and school
personnel. - Ability to develop and implement positive behavioral
interventions and supports. Location: - Minneapolis, Minnesota
direct service with students in an elementary school environment.
