dimensional integrity of every part we ship from our
state-of-the-art Grantsburg, WI 54840 facility. You’ll be the
expert who converts complex specifications into clear pass/fail
decisions and actionable feedback. Imagine This Scenario A critical
order is on hold due to a subtle variance. You verify setup on an
open plate, launch a proven CMM program, and troubleshoot until the
readings align. You isolate the root cause, document the
non-conformance, and partner with production to prevent
recurrence—then capture lessons learned for the next audit. What
You'll Own Thorough inspection of parts using an open plate setup
and other precision methods. Execution and troubleshooting of
existing CMM programs to ensure reliable measurements.
Identification, documentation, and communication of
defects/non-conformities. Cross-functional collaboration to resolve
quality issues at the source. Calibration, validation, and
maintenance oversight for inspection equipment. Accurate recording
of inspection and test results. Assistance with developing and
implementing quality control procedures. Active participation in
periodic quality audits and assessments. Recommendations that drive
continuous improvement. Required Background High school diploma or
equivalent; quality certifications a plus. 5–8 years in
manufacturing inspection roles. Direct experience executing CMM
programs (must-have). Keen attention to detail and analytical
capability. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specs.
Strong communicator with team-first mindset. Knowledge of quality
methodologies and tools. Proficiency with precision
measurement/test equipment. Core Skills GD&T Quality inspection
experience Blueprint reading Tools of the Trade CMM platforms:
Zeiss, Hexagon, Faro Measurement gauges Quality software: PC-DMIS,
