Job Description:
MacArthur Co., a leader in the distribution of high-quality
building materials, is seeking a motivated and skilled Outside
Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role is
crucial for promoting and selling our comprehensive range of
building materials in a competitive market, using strong
relationship-building skills to secure new business and maintain
existing accounts. The ideal candidate will be adept in negotiating
deals, understanding client needs, and providing tailored solutions
that ensure customer satisfaction and company growth. Develop and
implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales
targets. Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and
customer relationships in the territory. Reach out to customer
leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals. Analyze the
territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems,
interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products
and services. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
in the building materials industry. Continuously improve through
feedback and performance metrics. Proven ability to negotiate and
close deals. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the
audience needs. Relationship management skills and openness to
feedback. Effective time management, organization, and multitasking
skills. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM

Sales Professional Certification (Preferred) Valid driver’s license
and clean driving record (Required)
