Overview: Responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating
new sales leads to support Inovalon's Sales Team. This individual
will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and
develop new business prospects from multiple sources, including
inbound marketing leads and prospect lists.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and appointment
setting;
* Develop new business via telephone and email to introduce
Inovalon services to prospect and existing customers;
* Able to handle complex lead generation calls across different
lines of business to many different job titles;
* Identify appropriate buyers within the target market;
* Build and cultivate prospect relationships;
* Provide feedback to help identify prospects' pain points to help
determine how the Inovalon solution will simplify administrative
processes;
* Consistently meets and exceeds dials, talk time and marketing
qualified leads created metrics;
* Work as part of market driven team to develop and grow the sales
pipeline;
* Actively contributes in weekly meetings by providing ideas and
suggestions to the team;
* Use Customer Centric sales techniques, process, and pipeline
milestones to manage sales;
* Utilize Salesforce.com for contact management, opportunity
tracking, sales pipeline management;
* Complete product certification for Inovalon applications as it
relates to the healthcare market segment assigned; and
* Other duties as requested and/or determined.
* Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and
mission statement;
* Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined
within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and
at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or
services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
* Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be
reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving
operational and financial success of the Company; and
* Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for
applicable processes and procedures within your job function.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 6 months of sales or telesales experience;
* Strong presentation phone skills;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Good analytical skills;
* Ability to set and manage multiple priorities;
* Strong project management/organizational skills and exceptional
attention to detail;
* Proficiency with MS Office suite and other software
applications;
* Experience with Salesforce.COM or similar contact relationship
management systems is preferred; and
* Ability to build team unity; working with a cross-functional and
diverse group;
Education:
* Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and
experience in a directly related field.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
* Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
* Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible
amount of force;
* Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise
move objects and repetitive motions;
* Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
* Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally
usually for training purposes.
