The ideal candidates for this role will be located in the areas of
Dallas/Fort Worth, Minneapolis, Philadelphia or Washington D.C.
THE ROLE
The Regional Sales Representative will support the sales team
within a co-assigned territory while developing the necessary sales
skills and experience to be promoted to a Regional Director
position. An individual in this position will be mentored through
company, product and Bariatric Industry trends, to develop into a
successful sales representative within ReShape Lifesciences.
Through a mix of in-servicing and field-based selling experiences,
a Regional Sales Representative will coordinate, sell, follow-up on
leads and support products achieving sales objectives in all
categories in the region they support, as well as develop and
support clinical and Health Care Provider (HCP) relationships. The
position will also cover cases for the Senior Regional Director,
provide customer service and demonstrate clinical information as
needed. This position requires the ability to assimilate and learn
a high-level of technical information as it relates to surgery and
procedures.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support the Senior Regional Director to enable more face-to-face
time with Health Care Providers.:
Pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to
maximize the benefits derived from Company products and
services.
Promote and assist in sales of ReShape Lifesciences' products.
Cover cases for Senior Regional Director and provide sales support;
conduct basic training to HCPs as needed.
Develop, build and strengthen long-term relationships with
stakeholders including hospitals, physicians, surgical personnel
and other HCPs.
Coordinate product orders with the Senior Regional Director as
needed.
Assist in pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product
services to maximize the benefits derived from Company
products.
Help identify key voids and assist in developing new programs to
meet Company sales goals.
Coverage of open territories, as needed and assigned.
Be fully versed in all Company product lines and services and
provide marketing collateral to programs.
Focus on customer satisfaction as a high priority.
Launch new products and increase penetration and drive incremental
sales for Company products.
Assist in data gathering for market development plans/strategies
and changes as needed.
Assess customer needs and feedback regarding new products and/or
modifications to existing products and communicate to internal
stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
Collaborate with Senior Regional Director, Marketing, Customer
Service and other appropriate functions to develop and execute
implementation plans for adding new customer accounts.
Establish self as a point of contact for customer education needs,
by coordinating and participating in HCP-facing education requests
with internal and external training personnel.
Meet/exceed sales goals and other performance objectives.
Travel by car/rail/auto up to 60% per month, as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Education Bachelor's Degree required
Experience Introductory knowledge of company products and
services
Previous sales experience required; medical device or
pharmaceutical sales preferred
Healthcare experience preferred
Ability to work both independently and with a team; excellent
interpersonal skills
Strong presentation and influencing/selling skills
Comfortable speaking with both internal and external audiences
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and establish
priorities
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Ability to work in a clinical/operating room environment
