This position includes responsibility for business development.     • Responsible for generating new sales accounts pertaining to our diverse service line
    • Navigate company structures to get past gate keepers and influence decision makers
    • Develop strong working knowledge of the markets: pricing, services and competition
    • Develops and maintains sales strategies, gathers and evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data, and will implement plan changes as needed
    • Attend and participate at industry related trade shows & networking events
    • Continuously build, partner & manage strong relationships with key players/decision makers in our industry
    • Pursue and achieve public relations opportunities in the environmental sector pertaining to our services
    • Monitor, review, and report all new sales activity and results through CRM
    • Generate lists and pipelines utilizing CRM
    • Meet and exceed sales goals
    • Engage in problem solving by performing analysis, technical writing, & recommendations to clients by partnering with Project Managers
    • Partner with staff to prepare sales & marketing related deliverables, meetings and submittals, as well as attending client meetingsEssential education, training, knowledge & experience:
      • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field highly preferred but not required
      • Sales Training or Certified Sales Professional certification highly preferred
      • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience developing and closing new sales accounts within the environmental services industry
      • Strong experience generating new business, account management and technical proposal development required
      • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
      • Ability to overcome critical sales objections
      • Strong business relationship building skills a must
      • Strategic sales planning experience
      • Outstanding attention to detail & follow-up skills
      • Continue to develop extensive knowledge of the company's philosophy, the environmental industry, competitors, and technical sales techniques to foster professional and personal growthEssential Travel Requirements:This position will be based out of Bay West's home office in St. Paul.Travel throughout the United States is expected and can be up to 10% of time and includes overnight travel.Bay West is an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
