Job Description:
This individual is primarily responsible for managing the
recognition program for sales and service reps, which includes
monthly reporting on new sales, account growth, and special
incentives. This position also assists sales administration
teammates with commission management, annual budgeting, and
reporting. Success will be achieved through strong analytical and
research skills, the desire to support and interact with a
passionate sales team, and a commitment to producing timely and
accurate reports.Job Responsibilities70% Recognition
Administration
- Manage the annual recognition program for a team of over 100
sales and service reps
- Create accurate and timely recognition program reporting
- Summarize and communicate results to executive leadership,
regional teams, and individual reps
- Create and maintain program administration documentation to
ensure standards and transparency
- Consult with executive leadership to ensure the program
achieves desired objectives
- Research program effectiveness, fairness, and ROI, and provide
recommendations to drive behavior changes
- Create communication and documentation to announce the program
at the beginning of the year
- Drive automation by leveraging technology to increase program
efficiency and quality
- Manage ad-hoc recognition reporting requests
- Serve as primary contact for questions30% Sales Administration
- Collaborate with Sales Administration team members to support
department functions (commissions, contracts, budget, and
analytics)
- Assist in commission administration, auditing, and
reporting
- Assist in the compilation and submission of departmental
budgets
- Assist with ad hoc report requests
- Review, test, and update documentation related to processes,
policies, and procedures
- Support management with case or situation-specific sales
administration needsQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work
experience
- 2-3 years of reporting and analytical (qualitative and
quantitative) experience required
- 1-2 years sales administration and/or sales operations
experience preferred
- Experience managing recognition, incentives, contests, or other
sales programs preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Experience presenting to executives required
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor
in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to use discretion when working with sensitive and
