Job Description:

The Sales Support Specialist position resides within Allied Solutions' Sales and Account Management Support (SAMS) team and must possess excellent communication, organization, critical thinking skills to provide effective, efficient, and positive experiences in support of Allied's achievement of annual goals.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:Through a service-oriented mindset, this position must be capable of developing rapport quickly with external sales contacts to gain trust, by seeking to thoroughly understand needs, and delivering effective support through accurate and quick responses.

  • Serve as request coordinator for the Sales & Account Management Support (SAMS) team
  • Using Qvidian, create Level I,II,III proposals
  • Update Infor Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, or Tickets based on request details
  • Format presentations or other documents based on request details
  • Collaborate with internal product SMEs to obtain additional content and custom pricing
  • Review and finalize price positioning and alternate scenarios with Field prior to sending

    Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
    • 1-3 years' experience with sales proposals strongly preferred
    • 1-3 years' experience in a proposals, sales or marketing environment preferred
    • 1-3 years' experience working in a financial services enterprise (e.g. bank, credit union, finance company, insurance company, insurance brokerage or agency, etc.)
    • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required
    • Comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced sales environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail
    • Demonstrated mastery of working with multiple technologies - CRM, email, desktop applications, proposal automation software, printing and shipping - to accomplish multiple and simultaneous tasks
    • Grammar, format and sentence structure skills to ensure that supplied content is professional and aligned to Allied's Brand
    • Verbal skills and confidence to interact with multiple customer, partner and stakeholder communication styles in order to understand requests, etc. that meet specifications or expectations
