This position will be located on-site at our clients and you must reside in the greater St. Paul/Minneapolis area to be considered.At Redpath, we continue to grow and our Client Accounting Services team is looking for a part-time Fractional Controller to support our construction clients. In this capacity, you will support one or more clients simultaneously and you could expect to provide a wide variety of accounting and finance services including but not limited to:Financial statement reportingBudgeting and forecastingAudit preparationAnalysis and implementation of internal controls and other best practicesMonth-end closeAnalysis of inventory costing and overhead for manufacturing clientsAnalysis of percentage of completion accounting for the construction clientsSpecial accounting projectsSound financial management adviceWhat you will need to be successful:Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA preferredSeven+ years of accounting experience including construction industry experience and recent experience as a ControllerExperience working with generally accepted accounting principlesExperience with multiple general ledger software packagesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to work effectively both on a team and independentlyEnthusiasm and willingness to learnStrong analytical and problem solving skillsStrong verbal and communication skillsAbility to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivatedAbility to travel to local client sitesExceptional client serviceAbout Redpath and Company:Redpath and Company has offices located in downtown St. Paul and White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and the firm ranks as one of the top CPA firms in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area with almost 200 employees.
