Job Description:
White House Custom Colour (WHCC) is a family-owned company in
Eagan, MN. WHCC is one of the largest professional photographic and
press imaging companies in the USA. We are currently looking for a
Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual
will undertake, upkeep, and repair tasks to the interior and
exterior of company premises. Well rely on you to keep our
facilities in excellent condition by doing various odd jobs. The
ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, a
positive attitude, and a desire to learn. Schedule: Flexible, 1st
or 2nd shift, +$2/hr shift differential for 2nd
shiftResponsibilities:
Organize and maintain work orders and
partsPerform routine building maintenance tasks (painting,
carpentry, assembling and moving furniture, etc.)Inspect buildings
and other structures to determine systems are functioning, detect
malfunctions and needed repairs, making notes and
recommendationsConduct troubleshooting and perform repairs as
needed on facilities equipmentWork with the equipment repair team
and on-site production manager to prioritize repairs and
projectsAbility to respond to emergency alarms and events during
off business hours, including weekends and holidaysProvide a high
level of internal customer serviceRequired Qualifications &
Competencies:
HS diploma or GED; technical
certifications preferredMinimum 1 year work experience in facility
maintenance preferredDemonstrate a mechanical aptitude, the desire
and capacity to learn, and the ability to handle multiple
maintenance issuesAbility to use common tools, climb a ladder and
step ladderBasic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and
carpentry a plusDemonstrate ability to identify potential
facilities problems and assist in solving these problemsMust be
detail-orientedMust be a team player with a positive attitude,
dependable with a good attendance recordAbility to communicate both
written and verballyAbility to work in a fast-paced
environmentAbility to push a minimum of 100 pounds (power cleaning
appliances), lift a minimum 50 pounds Full-Time Staff receive a
