Job Description:

Job Purpose: To assist the shipping staff, by coordinating and prioritizing work, or activities. - Ensuring every order is accurately produced and shipped on time with the highest possible quality at the lowest cost. -Having input on the hiring, firing, and coaching of shipping staff. - Provide daily feedback and areas of improvement to shipping staff. -Key Responsibilities and Duties - The following job responsibilities are the duties that the Lead is responsible for achieving. -

  • Facilitates work-order flow evenly and accurately shipping processes - 60% - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
  • Manage workflow in a way which will result in meeting department objectivesCoordinates with outside departments to help prioritize production finalizationIdentifies and facilitates work-orders that potentially present a large time or labor challenge Stages work in a logical order to allow all department sections ample time for the tasks neededAnticipate and facilitate potential bottlenecks and form a daily plan to eliminate them. - Focus on those Work Orders that potentially present the biggest challengeContinuously monitor the to-do lists and talk with employees to address any problems that occur in the order flow, look for abnormal FLOW situations - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Works in stations as needed to ensure daily work goals are achievedContinuously monitors stations and coordinates with employees to address any flow issuesPrioritize and plan for work activitiesDemonstrate accuracy and thoroughness -
