MSA has an opportunity for an Experienced Level Civil
Engineering Technician II at our St Paul, MN office. This position
will work primarily in the field including construction
management/survey/staking on a variety of public works projects. If

- Construction inspection on a variety of municipal projects
- Quantity verification and Contractor communication
- Reviewing and understanding design plans
- Computations, reduction of field notes, filing and retrieving
prints, and running prints
- Construction Staking
- Wastewater, street, sewer, and water utility design in Civil
3D
- Completing redline revisions to plans
- Communicate with clients and engineering staff on the progress
of the project
- Provide record drawings of the projects
- Assist with design plans utilizing Civil 3D softwareWhat you
bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
- High School diploma required. Associates degree in civil or
architectural engineering technology or specialty related degree
preferred.
- 4 years experience with a high school diploma or 2 years with
associates degree required
- MNDOT Certifications preferred
- Prior practical field experience required
- Prior experience with CAD Surface Modeling preferred
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a consulting environment on a Team
setting
