This faculty position is responsible for University of Minnesota
Construction Management (CMGT) course instruction as employed by
Undergraduate Applied and Professional Studies (uAPS) in the
College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS) in the
Construction and Facility Management degree program.This job
posting is intended to collect applications for one or more of the
CMGT courses as needed for any particular semester. These CMGT
courses comprise documents and contracts; legal, ethical, and risk
issues; planning and scheduling; estimating; safety and loss
control; specifications and technical writing; sustainability;
materials and structures; building energy systems; building
envelope design and construction; environmental health and safety;
facility management; building information modeling; cost
accounting; lean construction; building codes, and others as may

CMGT Teaching Specialists report to the faculty director of the
CMGT program and are typically employed on a semester-by-semester
basis to teach at least once in an academic year in either full
semester (14 week) of half semester (7 week) course.Please visit

Most courses are delivered as weekly evening face-to-face classroom
classes or a hybrid blend of synchronous classroom and asynchronous
online modules. Many are entirely asynchronous online and can
therefore be taught remotely. Teaching modalities may change or
adjust from time to time based upon program and industry needs.
