As a Operations Associate - Material Handler , the primary responsibility is to perform all duties associated with stocking and preparing orders of building materials to be distributed to a network of dealers and building centers. Order fulfillment is completed in a work environment consisting of inside and outside warehouse/yard areas. Work conditions include working inside and outside in weather typical of Minnesota's seasons and includes picking and preparing orders, storing products and loading/unloading commercial trucks, combination tractor/trailers, rail cars, and customer vehicles. Extra consideration for awarding this position will be given to applicants with proven forklift material handling experience. A candidate's ability to safely operate a standard counter-balance style forklift is preferred over any other material handling.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
1st Shift - 5 day/8 hr. 6 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd Shift - 5 day/9hr. + 4 hr. 2:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Operating power tools for preparing, assembling, and securing product orders, as well as cutting materials for specific customer needs is routine to this position.
Banding, wrapping, or packaging material for shipping to secure each shipment and assuring best in class customer experience is a routine expectation.
Material Handling Skills - Frequent material handling by operating a forklift or side-loader is a primary responsibility for this position.
Superior regard and attention to all aspects of SAFETY, compliance to OSHA standards as well as company safety expectations is a fundamental way of life and key component of this position.
Follow daily operations schedule, with an ability to adjust to customer needs.
Attention to detail, with better-than-average accuracy in quality of the work.

Pay and Benefits Package:
Starting wage - 18.00/hour or more depending on experience
OT hours paid after 8 hours.
A $3.00 shift differential is paid in addition for assignment to 2nd shift.
Base hourly wage and eligible increase after 90 days of training.
