Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Strategy & Planning Consultant.
This role resides in the Chief Operating Officer organization, in
Operations. Our team supports Consumer & Small Business Banking
Operations (CSBBO) functions. Specifically, the role reports to the
Business Planning & Transformation team within CSBBO.
In this role, you will: Lead or participate in moderately complex
initiatives and deliverables within Strategy & Planning
Contribute to large scale planning related to Strategy &
Planning
Assist in the identification of strategic business, investment
opportunities, evaluation, and approval process of identified
opportunities
Review and analyze business, operational, or technical assignments
or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of
alternatives
Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
Resolve moderately complex issues
Lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding
of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance
requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to
resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor
Required Qualifications, US: 4+ years of Strategy and Planning
experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination
of the following: work experience, training, military experience,
education
Desired Qualifications: Intellectual curiosity with strong
analytical skills
Strong attention to detail, with demonstrable experience finding
and correcting errors
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work
under pressure in a highly dynamic environment
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot
tables, creativity)
Advanced PowerPoint skills (storyboarding, graphs, executive-level
writing)
Business Intelligence tool experience
Management consulting experience
Collaborative mindset
Job Expectations: Execute internal consulting engagements with the
business functions
Facilitate resolution of technology execution challenges, monthly
reporting
Complete data integration and entry into system of record
Complete monthly reviews of data to ensure accuracy
Investigate data anomalies
Identify improvement opportunities in processes and tools
Coordinate risk routine documentation and business function
participation
Perform ad hoc data analysis
Escalate issues to senior positions
