Position Summary: This position is responsible for operates baling machine, preparing product for secondary markets generating revenues that contribute to the organizations mission. Typical Starting Pay Range between $12.80 - $18/hr. A day in the life: In a typical day, a Machine Operator can expect to...Production and Quality Operations: Operates equipment effectively and efficiently.Safety: Help contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for employees and customers. This includes, but is not limited to, PPE for employees, social distancing standards, daily health checks to prevent transmission, and contactless donations drop-off processes at our retail locations.Mission: Executes all job duties in a manner that promotes employment and quality participant experience. About You: Required Knowledge & Skills:Must be at least 18 years of age.Ability to speak and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and customers.Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.Strong decision-making skills.Ability to interact with a very diverse population in a human-services setting.Perseverance and commitment to getting the job done.Ability to operate material handling equipment. Prior Experience & Education:0-3 years of experience.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
