This position will be scheduled 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and will participate in an on-call rotation every fourth week. Location Information Since 2016, Saint Therese of Woodbury is our youngest community. We offer 216 independent, assisted living and memory care apartments; 56 skilled and transitional care suites. The Redwoods Senior Apartments joined the Woodbury community in November of 2017! Responsibilities: Maintains and makes repairs to the facility and equipment in a timely manner. Assists with coordination of maintenance requests and assists Plant Director with preventive maintenance. Responsible for painting and repairs to rooms and/or apartments to prepare for incoming residents. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED desired. Vocational training in related field preferred. Experience: Minimum three years related experience in a commercial building or health care environment preferred. Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Boilers License a plus. * Pool Operator certification preferred. * Universal Refrigeration Certificate preferred. * Preparing and painting both commercial and residential indoor spaces. * Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry skills. * Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise appropriate judgment. * Ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of related or unrelated jobs. * Ability to perform manual labor, including being able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
