About the Job


Percentage of Duties

85%
o Review document control forms
o Keep an inventory spreadsheet of document control forms
o Sign off on new/updated SOP's
o Keep the SOP filing cabinet organized and up to date
o Keep up to date with the SOP numbers spreadsheet
o Check log books periodically
o Review all batch records and other paperwork
o Scan/File reviewed documents
o Perform environmental control and put up segregated state signs when necessary
o Organize, assign lot numbers, and distribute all paperwork for runs
o Make sure that other employees correct any errors they made in filling out paperwork
o Help investigate complaints/non-conforming events and sign off on paperwork
o Release or rejection of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediates and batches
as per customer specifications.
o Conduct final review of all process documents and reports.
o Assemble documents and deliver to clients, along with shipping of final product to
clients.

o Fill out the QA disposition form
o Make sure that the distribution forms are being filled out
o Put GMP ingredients into quarantine and then release them with all necessary
paperwork is put together
o Attend visits from clients, be prepared to talk about BRC's quality system
o Review log books Work with auditors during client and internal audits
o Respond to auditors' comments
o Post a list of recently updated or created SOP's for other lab employees to read
o Oversee undergraduate workers assisting with QA duties.
o Insure that Quality related complaints are investigated and resolved.
o Insure that effective systems are used for maintaining and calibrating critical
equipment.

Qualifications


Preferred Qualifications
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat. Type 30 wpm at a minimum.

Required Qualifications
-BA/BS plus at least 4 years of experience or advanced degree plus 2 years of experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 8 years.
