Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist Successful business South of the River looking for an enthusiastic person to join our company. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and, detail-oriented professional to join our Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for our Accounts Payable and Receivable as well as providing administrative support to the Financial Manager. We are looking for a motivated and organized self-starter who would like to join our company team. Knowledge of accounting and financial procedures is required. Duties Include: - Monitor, organize, and accurately enter all vendor invoices using any discounts available - Keep track of claims and vendor credits due - Process sub-contractor invoices - Maintain and keep track of all sub-contractor's required paperwork - Close completed jobs - Record and reconcile daily all credit card, checks, and financing payments. Make bank deposits as needed. - Keep track of outstanding invoices and collect payments due from customers. File pre-liens as directed. - Keep any filing organized and moved to storage as necessary - Answer phones as necessary and transfer to correct individual/department - Miscellaneous projects as assigned by Financial Manager Skills Required: - Associate Degree in Accounting preferred or a minimum of two years of experience in AR/AP - Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Experience in RFMS a plus - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Strong organizational skills - Effective communication skills - Ability to work independently as well as get along with others - Ability to problem solve - Ability to create your own schedule and meet deadlines Job Type: Full-time.
