To succeed in this role, you will need to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role, based in the Saint Paul, Minnesota region, is a permanent position.Major responsibilities- Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan- Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department- Verify documents and codes- Enter and balance financial data in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts- Carry out, convey, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the company- Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures- Manage monthly closings and annual reports, including handling payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP
