Position OverviewThe University of Minnesota, Department of Theatre
Arts and Dance, has an occasional need for part-time, temporary
actors to perform in various theatrical productions. This does not
constitute a posting for vacancies, but establishes a pool of
applicants should openings occur during the 2022-2023 academic
year. Applications will not be acknowledged upon receipt.
Applicants will only be contacted should an active opening occur
during the academic year. Positions may be appointed during the
2022-2023 academic year: fall semester 2022 (08/29/2022 -
01/11/2023), spring semester 2023 (01/12/2023 - 05/28/2023) or
summer 2023.

About the Department
Our primary mission is to educate our students and our audiences
about the performing arts and about the social issues and human
emotions the arts speak to so powerfully. We are committed to
realizing this mission by creating, producing, and studying works
of theatre and dance, and performing them publicly for diverse
audiences drawn from both the University and the community at
large. About the CollegeHome to the arts, social science and
humanities disciplines and programs, the College of Liberal Arts
