Applicants are invited for a postdoctoral researcher position in
the Laboratory of Structural Biology of Disease at the Department
of Pharmacology, Medical School, University of Minnesota. The
laboratory is headed by Dr. Fang Li (PI).
Duties/Responsibilties:(1) Conduct molecular virology research in
the field of receptor recognition and cell entry of SARS-CoV-2
(COVID-19 virus);(2) Participate in design of projects, planning
and executing experiments; (3) Collect and organize data for
research activities; (4) Attend, participate, or present at
laboratory meetings, seminars, graduate and undergraduate lectures,
and conferences as needed;(5) Maintain frequent communication with
collaborators, including, if required, traveling to destinations to
meet with collaborators and collect data.
