General Statement of Responsibilities:Assist patients in choosing eyewear as well as dispensing and adjusting glasses. This position is 30 hours a week

    • Maintaining optical inventory,
    • Assisting patients with frame and lens selection
    • Dispensing glasses to patients, making adjustments, and troubleshooting to resolve any problems that our patients may be having with their eyeglasses.

      Qualifications





      Required Qualifications:
      • Three years of opticianry experience with or without certification from the American Board of Opticians or equivalent certifying agency.
      • Experience in retail optical with fitting glasses etc.
      • Experience with optical terminology and optical equipment.
      • Excellent communications skills. Must be excellent at multitasking and computer skills.
      • Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture that respects and advances diversity and inclusion. Preferred Qualifications:
        • Experience working with individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
