In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic systems and support structure with a soldering iron or other hand tools to install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings. Openings are currently available on first shift (6:30 am 3:00 pm). Banner is a rapidly growing company that offers many personal development opportunities, an excellent benefits package, and a collaborative team of employees who are passionate about what they do.*What You'll Be Contributing** Assemble subassemblies and/or final product following instructions from matrix documentation and SOPs.* Place, wire, solder, and utilize hot soldering iron to connect and encapsulate PC boards and/or units.* Test, label, package, and deliver to stockroom.* Adjust, repair, or replace electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.* Read and interpret drawings, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.* Position, align, and adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly.* Complete, review, and maintain production, time, and component waste reports.* May confer with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, and to resolve production problems.* May explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.* Other duties as assigned*What You Bring to the Table*To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and regular attendance is required.
