ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary: Talent Acquisition Intern
We have an---Immediate---need for a Talent Acquisition Intern experienced with high volume recruiting, screening, cold-calls, data entry and emails.
Our Recruiter is searching for a Talent Acquisition Intern for Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport. The Intern position will be providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition function to ensure positive and productive candidate/client interactions and relationships. The TA Intern will help develop our non-for-profit relations program, by working with the team to create a plan of action and provide/research a list of top non-for-profit organizations. You will help enhance the OTG look and feel, as well as support the TA Recruiting team during our off/onsite events. In this Internship, you will assist with all recruiting projects, scheduling interviews, and designing the internship programs for operations. Interns will learn how to interview and course candidates through the hiring process. In this Internship, you will work on special projects related to the overall success of the TA process.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the Recruiter, handing out flyers, sourcing, scheduling, and reporting
  • Contact local Colleges, Universities, church organizations, non-for-profits to set up introduction and follow up meetings
  • Learn Recruitment Strategy + navigating through an Applicant Tracking System
  • Learn how to properly write a job description
  • Create and deliver internal and external communications to reinforce our employer brand, including overseeing and maintaining career site copy
  • Manage Recruitment platforms and relationships
  • Partners with manager to determine staffing needs.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person).
  • Able to passively and actively source for all networks.
  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
    • We need a passionate out of the box thinker who wants to be engaged in change for the entire company.
    • Must be enrolled or graduated from a 2-4-year Associates or bachelor's Program in an accredited College or University
    • Team-oriented, coachable, agile, and engaged
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Hospitality and customer experience oriented
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience working within a cross-functional team
    • Previous experience/knowledge working in a position with high confidentiality
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
