Essential Responsibilities

As a Direct Support Professional you will be an essential employee to the well-being of the people we support. You will be working directly with them and helping them with things like:

Setting life goals and achieving their dreams.

Community engagement - this includes planning, driving, and accompanying people on outings.

Planning personal empowerment, life enrichment, and skill building activities.

Daily personal cares.

Implementing person-centered goals.

Requirements

You don't need experience - we will train you!

You will need...

A passion to make a difference and the desire to learn.

The ability to interact with people with disabilities and your team mates in a respectful, positive, and encouraging way.

Good communication and time management skills.

A valid driver's license and clean driving record.

To pass a Department of Human Services background study.

Proof of Covid 19 full vaccination or approved request for exemption before your start date.

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment:

You will work in a group day services setting with a supportive, interactive work team. Full time or part time hours are available. Monday - Friday, no weekends, no holidays.
