Overview:
Memorial Blood Centers (MBC.ORG), a division of Innovative Blood
Resources (www.innovativebloodresources.org), has been saving and
sustaining lives since 1948. We supply blood and blood components,
state-of-the-art laboratory services, and biomedical expertise to
area healthcare partners, national blood centers, biotechnology
companies, research institutions, and international clients.
Operating 10 donor centers and conducting hundreds of blood drives
each month, we are proud to be an independent nonprofit that
supplies over 30 area hospitals and more than a dozen air
ambulances with life-saving bloodfrom our community, for our
community.
Responsibilities:
Summary:This position ensures that blood collections goals are met
by calling the appropriate donors to Memorial Blood Centers donor
centers and mobile blood drive operations.Job
Responsibilities:Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday: Tues - Fri 8am -
5:30pm and Sat 9am - 1pmRecruiting for Whole Blood Donations:Calls
appropriate donors based on inventory needsUnderstands minimum
requirements for donor recruitment and donor deferral
guidelinesUses assertivecommunication to secure
appointmentsParticipates in programs to increase donor base.
Includes cold calling to bring in new donors, lapseddonor and
frequency campaignsMeets individualand team goals to complete a
minimumnumber of appointments and dials per hourRecruiting for
Automated Procedures:Determines what is appropriate donation
process with each callMeets individual and team goals to complete a
minimum number of appointments and dials per hourReminder CallsData
EntryScheduling/ Canceling and rescheduling donor
appointmentsMaintains accurate donor files and fills out

Qualifications:
Education:High School Diploma or EquivalentOther:Minimum 1 year
experience in telemarketing and/or customer serviceCustomer service
training experience preferredAbility to organize and
prioritizeBasic computer, typing skills, and math skillsExcellent
interpersonal communication skillsAccurate oral and written
communication skillsPersuasive sales skillsAbility to read and
interpret SOPsAbility to work independently and meet
