Job Description:
The E-Commerce Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the
day-to-day activity and performance on the company's E-commerce
website. To be successful in this position you will be focused on
supporting goals to enhance our brand, improve the user experience,
and increase customer traffic and sales. As this specialist you
will manage the site, update and develop new content for product or
service offerings, and ensure brand message aligns with the rest of
the company. Data will be key in this position to track all
e-commerce activity, marketing efforts, promotions, and brand
consistency to analyze and improve upon your strategies. This
position is required to be onsite and will work closely with the
Sales & Marketing teams. RESPONSIBILITIES:Ecommerce Support -
Analyze online activity and report changes in product sales by
using web analytics and excel spreadsheets - Enhance the user
experience to use by utilizing the features within the website -
Provide support in other company areas of digital marketing, email
marketing, SEO, Google analytics, content management systems and
other utilized platforms - Stay abreast on the latest technology
and purchasing trends - Identify and track bugs, issues and
improvements by working with external vendors who manage the site
operationsCustomer Service - Setup and onboard customers to the
e-commerce website - Create, update and provide website training to
our customers - Perform a help desk role to assist customers,
answer questions, and address concerns - Manage relationships with
multiple internal stakeholders Content Management - Create
standards and best practices for new product listings, content
creation and maintenance - Write and edit product content to be
published on E-commerce website - Work closely with the sales team
to understand client requirements and the sales strategy - Plan and
execute ad campaigns OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support and
participate in EOS/Traction operations, and attend weekly L-10
meetings - Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by
supervisor EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: - Bachelor's degree in
marketing, business, or other related field is required - Minimum
of 2+ years of experience successfully managing an e-commerce
website or digital marketing and providing content management are
required; or combination of experience and education - Previous
marketing experience desired, merchandising experience is a plus -
Demonstrated understanding of various platforms and online sales
strategies - Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite -
Self-starter, ability to work independently and collaborate well
with others - The subject matter expert for all things e-commerce -
Highly organized, detail oriented and effective time management
skills. - Demonstrate professionalism, superior people skills,
effective oral and written communication skills and basic customer
service experience
