Job Description Homeland Health Specialists is seeking qualified RNs and LPNs to perform covid vaccinations for our traveling worksite clinics at companies, schools, and other organizations throughout Minnesota and surrounding states. This position requires flexibility to work multiple shifts 20-40 hours/ week dependent upon our clients needs. We serve much of the Twin Cities, Brainerd, Cambridge, Duluth, Fargo, Grand Forks, Mankato, Owatonna/ Faribault, Rochester, St. Cloud, Western Wisconsin, Eastern North Dakota, Iowa as well as many companies Nationwide. Responsibilities Demonstrate aseptic technique, landmark injection sites and safe delivery of vaccinations/ immunizations to pediatric and adult clients according to Homeland Health Specialists policies and protocols and CDC best practices Possess critical thinking and clinical assessment skills to handle emergency situations (e.g. reaction to vaccine/ immunization) Reviews client consent and insurance form for completeness and legibility before offering services Demonstrate strong customer services skills including: patience, problem-solving, and flexibility Respond to urgent customer needs in a timely, professional manner Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers while serving as an ambassador for Homeland Health Specialists Perform on-site supervision of other Homeland Health Specialists staff, ensure completeness of all forms used at each clinic Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing At least 1 year of Nursing experience RN or LPN license Associate's degree or higher Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse or LPN issued by the State of Minnesota and/ or Wisconsin, or state in which applying Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and have ready access to an insured vehicle to allow for travel to various wellness/ flu clinic locations throughout assigned area Preferred Qualifications Experience with vaccinations Experience with patient teaching Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Strong time management and customer service skills Must satisfy nursing skills competencies Must have highly developed organizational skills and ability to follow-through with organized tasks Must be confident, dependable, timely and self-sufficient Demonstrated dependability, tact, patience, professionalism, and the ability make appropriate decisions Must have computer skills necessary to accomplish requirements of position including word processing, related software, and Internet tools Company Description Homeland Health Specialists is a provider of wellness and vaccination services to governments, schools, non-profit organizations and companies throughout Minnesota and surrounding states.by Jobble
