The Regulatory Affairs North America Commercial Biocides Team is
seeking a Senior Regulatory Specialist. In this role you will work
with talented professionals with a shared dedication to making the
world a cleaner, safer, healthier place. As a Senior Regulatory
Specialist, you will be responsible for driving and managing
government approvals for US EPA pesticide registrations. This role
is critical in ensuring the successful commercialization of
Ecolab's $1B+ NA pesticide portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a strong regulatory background with
experience in project management and enabling growth of divisional
product portfolios. The individual will be expected to develop
knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks and
requirements necessary to bring new product claims to the market
and ensure the vitality of our portfolio. Some of the most
important skills for this position are project management, ability
to navigate through regulatory details, effectively collaborate
with key business leaders and government agencies and
problem-solving creativity. As proficiency in this role increases,
the individual will expand their involvement in regulatory strategy
and take on active involvement with regulatory trade organizations.
The individual we are seeking has experience in working with
regulations and communicating and collaborating with both internal
and external stakeholders.

- Develop commercial product registration strategy for
antimicrobial product registrations with the US EPA and other
government agencies as applicable. Prepare, coordinate and secure
necessary government approvals to successfully market pesticide
products in North America.
- Identify applicable regulatory requirements by leveraging
internal subject matter experts and/or communicating and meeting
directly with regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) and others.
- Develop project plan based on registration strategy that
identifies key tasks, milestones, risks, costs and timelines.
- Collaborate with the business units, regulatory colleagues, and
government agencies to ensure regulatory strategy meets business
- Partner with business commercial leads to effectively manage
commercial biocides portfolio lifecycle.
- Actively participate in relevant industry Trade Associations
for the advancement of business needs.
- Collaborate with Agency and Government Relations to advocate
for efficiencies across applicable platforms.
- Provide strategic change leadership regarding work processes
and policies to minimize redundancy through state-of-the-art
processes and procedures.
- Provide clear communication with associates at all levels in
the organization ensuring communication on both sides are
pertinent, specific and convey necessary detail.
- Keep up to date on regulatory areas of expertise and share
knowledge with associates and businesses in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 years' experience in Regulatory, Compliance or Technical
- Experience developing project plans and leading projects with
- Experience working directly with business leads
- Experience in presenting/communicating on regulatory
- Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing
- Strong data management, computer and analytical skills

- Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent
- Previous experience in regulatory affairs with product
registrations, biocide regulations and government officials
- Experience leading project teams in strategy development, risk
management, communicating change and influencing in a regulatory
- Experience solving problems
