Job Description:

As a UX Content Design Strategist within the design organization you will focus on our Find & Learn experiences, the scope includes new experiences and capabilities for global product, informational, thought leadership, marketing, and e-commerce content as we work to consolidate them into company website over the next few years. This is not a simple "lift and shift" of content but a fundamental rethinking of how we go to market and build out our self-serve informational experience online-core to the work will include creating simplified, replicable content journeys. 2021 responsibilities will include: --- Develop the hierarchy of brand and product stories (Brand, Product Overviews, Features Details) --- Perform template evaluation and gap analysis, then work with UX teams (Content Design, UI Design and Research) to enhance existing components or build net-new to fill gaps --- Audit and analysis of current product pages for one core product (Checkpoint), guidance on what to reuse, sunset, redirect --- Secondary source content evaluation - work with marketing teams to develop additional marketing content assets for use/reuse in the product marketing experience --- Develop strategy for higher level (top/middle of funnel) pages and journey leading to the Checkpoint experience & work with design team to develop new templates and content UX strategy Longer-term UX Content Strategy work will include: --- Tasks like the above, applied to rolling product priorities and other areas of the website ecosystem/experience of -400 websites, as defined by a developing business & migration strategy --- Work with UX teams on content hierarchy for additional templates in the Find & Learn roadmap (blogs, event marketing pages, campaign templates, guided selling flows, category pages, etc.) --- Partner with product owner, UX design and customer research to help craft and drive experience strategy; collaborate with marketing copy teams to execute great copywriting aligned to the strategy --- Partner with other UX Content Designers/Content Strategists across the digital landscape to ensure rollout of seamless journeys (upper-funnel, e-commerce, trials, renewals, support, training, onboarding, in-product, etc.) --- Create template and content usage guidelines for our internally accessible website to enable UX/marketing/product, etc. to scale content efforts Your background will include: --- Working closely with distributed colleagues across global organizations to define and execute complex content strategies --- Fostering collaboration across multiple teams as you gather technical and product-specific information and translate that information into concise, clear requirements, areas of need, and areas for amplification --- Blending user needs with business goals to achieve the right balance within outcomes --- A strong commitment to delivering quality documentation and deliverables --- Using data and research to evaluate content's impact (internally, externally) and to point the direction forward --- Presenting your work and articulate your point of view and approach to teammates, product owners, and other stakeholders About You: --- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field --- 7+ years of professional experience in UX Content Strategy, UX Writing, UX Content Design, or equivalent with strategy having been a fundamental focus of some of that time --- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines --- Experience working across large, complex organizations --- Case studies you can share about similar large-scale UX Content Strategy efforts --- Masterful use of Microsoft Office products, video conferencing platforms, and knowledge of some of the following UX tools: Sketch, Abstract, Axure Figma, Miro, InVision, Lucidchart Even better if you have: --- Experience with complex SaaS products or upper-funnel content strategy in the Legal or Accounting spaces --- Basic knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)-- --- Experience working in an agile framework --- Understanding of UX design and UX writing principles --- Solid grasp of current web/mobile technologies as well as related business issues About Digital People Digital People is committed to providing equal employment opportunity for all persons regardless of race, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, pregnancy, medical condition, genetic information, mental and physical disability, political affiliation, union membership, status as a parent, military or veteran status or other non-merit based factors.
