Job Description:

Purpose Statement: BridgesMN is seeking a full-time Fleet Runner to join our Employment Services team. Support our employment services with a focus on employment goal achievement, skill building and direct community employment.

Salary: $16.00 - $ 18.00

Job Roles/Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)

  • General Vehicle Maintenance and Mechanical abilities

  • General detailing vehicles abilities

  • Implement and complete projects as directed

  • Successfully execute plans according to Bridges procedure and policies

  • Conduct and participate in quarterly on-site safety trainings

  • Maintain highest quality of services are being delivered

  • Identify and diagnose vehicle mechanic needs and repairs

  • Implement strategies/solutions to repair vehicles

  • Attend weekly meetings with Employment Services team and manager

  • Maintain vehicle inventory and supplies

  • Assist Fleet Department with finance transactions and tracking

  • Maintain equipment quality and keep record of vehicle use

  • Document and file employee paperwork including invoices, expense reports, ES engagement/goals, time cards (WIW), etc.

  • Complete all necessary documentation in accordance with Bridges procedures and policies

Required Skills and Experience (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge skills and abilities).

  • 4 years of leadership experience highly preferred

  • High school diploma/ GED required

  • Ability to pass a background check with the Department of Health and Human Services

  • Must have a valid drivers license, if driving is required.
  • No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years

  • No major violations (DUI, Careless, Reckless, Serious Speed, Driving While License Suspended, etc) in the past 5 years

  • Compassionate about the care and well-being of others

  • Possess skills to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff and other customers

  • Possess the ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence and documentation, including medical terminology, in English.

  • Be punctual with a good attendance record.

  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills and Experience (Preferred or helpful)

  • Experience in 245D Licensing
