Trane Technologies is hiring a Controls Hardware
Quality Engineer in Saint Paul, MN. The
Quality Engineer will be responsible for quality reporting, driving
continuous improvement of our controls products by analyzing field
returns, and leading product improvement projects.
Become familiar with Trane Commercial Controls products.
Partner with Operations and Engineering to investigate root
causes and drive implementation of corrective and preventive
actions for customer complaints and internal issues. Leverage
common problem-solving tools (9 Step, 8D, A3).
Provide technical assistance in quality and reliability
engineering disciplines to design engineers, manufacturing
engineers, and suppliers to improve existing products.
Monitor and report monthly quality metrics.
Both domestic and international travel may be required.
Estimated travel is 10%.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from
a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
3 years of electrical controls quality or design experience is
