Saint Paul and Twin Cities neighbors with high-quality organic,
local, and sustainably-raised foods. We have three friendly
neighborhood stores in Saint Paul that are owned by over 18,000 of
our community members.
Our East 7th store is hiring a PT Deli Clerk.
Location: 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106
Schedule: Monday - Wednesday: 1:30-9:30pm. Shifts may vary
depending upon department needs.

Deli Clerks are essential to the success of our Deli and Coop.
The prompt, friendly, and caring service they provide help us
remain the "friendliest store in town". Deli Clerks help to ensure
that the Deli is clean, stocked, visually appealing, and that our
products and practices meet all food safety and general safety
requirements. Deli Clerks also provide general support to other
areas of the store.
Specific areas of accountability include customer service, food
prep and packaging, stocking, merchandising, and providing general
support to other areas of the store.
This role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, problem
solving, intercultural competence, adaptability, initiative,
self-awareness, resiliency, judgment, and integrity.
Physical and Working Requirements:
This position requires frequent standing as well as walking,
kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, stooping, pulling, fine
motor manipulation, climbing (ladders), lifting of up to 50lbs, and
the ability to move around our store and storage rooms with or
without reasonable accommodation.
The majority of our jobs require some weekend and/or evening
hours. Additional shifts may be necessary to meet the needs of the
department. Evening and weekend flexibility required.
Work in a safe environment at all times. Follow all appropriate
standards with regards to sanitation, safe food handling practices,
handling and labeling of organic ingredients, allergen labeling,
and special diets.
