Job Description Water & Fire Restoration Technician We are a full-service insurance restoration company and has been in business since 1983. We are seeking a looking to add professional, reliable and responsible Water Restoration Technicians to join our restoration company. Job details: Salary: $18.00-$25.00+/hour depending on experience. Opportunities available for career growth. Job Type: Full-time, overtime available, Rotating On-Call Schedule for after hours/weekend emergency service calls Number of hires for this role: 2 Benefits: We pay competitive wages. Cell Phone Allowance Responsibilities: Our technicians are responsible for and need to have the ability to supply outstanding customer service with positive customer interaction and service, sales support and restoration, reconstruction, and cleaning duties. Projects include water, fire, smoke, wind, odor, and mold remediation, help assist with reconstruction assignments with carpet cleaning, demolition, cleaning tasks, and additional duties required as needed associated with restoration. Front line and first responder for our company Respond to property damage emergency calls. Inspect properties for water damage, use monitoring tools, set drying equipment, and use other mitigation tools and equipment as needed. Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes, photos and other required documentation. Foresee potential issues and report them to the appropriate project manager in a timely and efficient manner. Qualified Candidates Requirements: Strong customer service skills and able to communicate professionally with customers. Able to work a flexible schedule and in a fast paced environment 2+ years previous experience with mitigation/restoration industry is preferred. Fluent using Xactimate software preferred. Current IICRC Water Restoration Certification helpful, but not required. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Ability to recognize and solve problems independently. Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable when it applies to work ethics.
