Job Description:

The Mental Health Practitioner- Clinical Trainee in Fraser's Adult Mental Health program will provide adult evaluations and carry a caseload of outpatient clients. Clinical services include planning and implementing appropriate treatment services, under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional.

Caseloads include:

* Outpatient therapy services with adults * Employment services with transition-aged clients * Preferred qualification: experience helping clients access and utilize employment supports, especially for transition-aged individuals.

* Outpatient therapy with families, couples, and parents of our adult clients

To qualify, you need to have a Master's Degree and be on a clinical licensure track (LMFT, LICSW or LPCC).

Monday- Friday, during standard business hours

Education/ Licensure:

* Master's degree completed in clinical mental health counseling or related field * On a licensure track - LMFT, LICSW or LPCC * Valid Minnesota Driver's License with acceptable record


* Experience providing services to adults with mental illness required * Experience with adults with Development Delays/Special Needs preferred * Demonstrated respect for and sensitivity to family and cultural issues required * Ability to pass DHS background check * Effective communication in the English language, including verbal and written communication * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required * Computer proficiency using Word and Excel with proficiency in keyboarding * Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with a focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness, and reflection.
