Account Executive
Currently Remote/St. Paul, MN
Job Summary:As an Account Executive you will work with sales and operations to development new clients and maintain relationships with current customers. As a Now Micro employee you will be part of an experienced team of dedicated sales professionals and partners that include HP, Dell, Microsoft, Intel, and others. This Account Executive would be working in our public sector and commercial divisions to provide for and manage the IT needs of general business, state agencies, government entities, and education accounts.
Required Skills and Responsibilities

• Act as a self-starter who is able to work independently with an outgoing, enthusiastic, detail-oriented personality.
• Provide ongoing consultation to clients regarding the purchase of hardware and software solutions and professional services offerings.
• Prospect and develop new customer relationships in a specific vertical market.
• Maintain and discover new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Report and manage monthly appointment activity and sales calls.
• Engage in opportunities with our existing vendor/distribution channel partners to ensure best value, pricing, and support for customers.
• Coordinate with internal sales and operational groups to ensure customer engagements are deployed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and develop proficiencies with new technologies and products.
• Engage and consult at the executive level.
• Strategically work with and leverage existing business partners in new opportunities.
• Light travel may be required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Other duties as needed. Desired Skills and Experience
  • Four-year college degree preferred
  • Knowledge and previous experience with CRM software required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical sales related role.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
