Anderson Dahlen, Inc. is a market leading Contract Manufacture of capital equipment in the Food processing, Pharmaceutical processing, Industrial process and Vacuum process, equipment markets. We have a long history as a family owned, privately held, values-based, company with approximately 300 employees and growing. Our team manufactures and distributes products to our customers worldwide.

Our Human Resources manager is responsible for providing leadership and continuous improvement to the Anderson Dahlen, Inc. human resources' processes. Emphasis includes full-cycle recruiting, on-boarding, employee relations, benefits, employee engagement, performance management, policy improvement, safety program management, employee training and employment law compliance.

Help Anderson Dahlen, Inc. by coaching and consulting with managers and employees, along with developing and implementing various HR initiatives, systems, and policies.

Utilize superior project management skills while working as a member of the leadership team on program design, employee development, and strategic planning.

Apply direct, hands-on experience to a variety of HR-related areas including, but not limited to recruiting, employee relations, performance management, program development, talent acquisition, health and safety, and employee training.

What will you bring to the position?

At least 7 years of human resources management experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or minimum of 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certified Human Resources Professional with either SHRM Certified Professional or PHR/SPHR Credentials.

Proven skills in presenting, resolving conflicts, and providing superior service.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the company.

Strong drive and the ability to self-motivate in the face of multiple priorities while managing time efficiently.

Strong technical HR skills and strong Health and Safety skills.

Comfortable working in a collaborative, dynamic, and open office environment.

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Primary Objective of the Position:

The Human Resources Manager will have a variety of responsibilities focused on the development and retention of our team. This person will play a key role in helping to move the business forward. Participates in the management of Anderson Dahlen, Inc. as a member of the leadership team. Trains our managers in programs and processes related to talent.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the Human Resources related duties at a professional level working directly with the Integrator and interacting with staff.

Performs benefit administration, positive employee relations, employment verifications, and employee onboarding tasks.

Talent management Recruiting, orienting, coaching, and counseling staff

Learning and development Assist managers with goal setting, performance reviews, performance development plans and employee training and development programs.

Organizational development - Facilitate the process of organizational planning that evaluates organization structure, job design/descriptions, and personnel workforce throughout the company. Evaluate plans and changes to plans. Contribute information, analysis and recommendation to organization strategic thinking and direction. Makes recommendations to executive team.

Total rewards Work with executive team to create a compensation strategy; Ensure competitive compensation and benefit programs are implemented; Benefits administration; employee service recognition.

Compliance Update policies and procedures to comply with applicable laws; advise executive team of upcoming changes in HR laws that could impact the company.

Employee relations - Communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, and laws; resolving problems and implementing change. Conduct annual employee survey, communicate results and implement action plan based on results.

Entrepreneurialism Explore other opportunities to add value to organization from human resources perspective not outlined above.

Health and Safety Responsible for ensuring that Anderson Dahlen, Inc. is a safe place to work by improving administrating the Anderson Dahlen health and safety program.

Leadership of HR legal compliance and risk management across the organization.

EEOC/HIPA, compliance

Risk avoidance / mitigation

Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred and/or 5+ years relevant HR work experience.

Broad HR expertise with excellent organizational, planning, prioritizing and organizing work.

Highest level of ethical judgment and strong relationship management.

Strong oral, written, facilitation, presentation and overall communication skills.

Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Work, Outlook).

Ability to work independently and interact and communicate with all organizational levels.

Qualifications for the Position:

At least 7 years of human resources management experience in a manufacturing environment required.

3-5 years of recruiting experience

SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR Credentials

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills

Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented

Proficient in business and HR related computer applications, along with Microsoft Office. HRIS knowledge and proficiency a plus.
