Sleep Number is seeking an experienced Compensation professional
who is looking to make an impact in a fast paced, innovative
organization. This position will play a role in further developing
Sleep Number's compensation strategy in order to attract, retain
and motivate team members while supporting business
Provide expertise and guidance to business leaders and Human
Resources Business Partners on a range of day-to-day compensation
topics, including market analysis for new positions and promotions,
and staying ahead of retention issues.
Develop insightful and impactful modeling and reporting to
enable data supported recommendations and decisions.
Bring industry experience and a point of view to drive process
Produce workforce analytics and proactively identify trends that
are affecting the business.
Collaborate with Sales leadership, Home Delivery, and
Headquarters leaders on compensation plan revisions to drive
improved business results.
Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze
competitive salary data utilizing Market Pay.
Collaborate and provide analysis/recommendations on compensation
strategy for the company through compensation owned projects.
Participate in compensation owned workday processes and
Key Performance Indicators
Successful completion of annual merit processes
Accurate and timely variable pay calculations and accruals
Ensure compensation programs align with the company’s
Generation of workforce analytics and reporting of insights
Analysis and reporting completed to make informed business
Accuracy in the work
7+ years Human Resources, Finance, General Business and/or
4 year college degree or equivalent
Proven experience acting as a subject matter expert to the
Advanced level Excel skills
Knowledgeable in compensation best practices
Experience with Compensation Management Platforms
Adept at understanding complex concepts and situations presented
by the business
Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate across teams
Demonstrated ability to manage change, multiple priorities, and
Excellent written and verbal communication
