Here, you will make an impact by:* Opening Labor & Benefit matters in GLAM & iManage (Matter Management systems)* Providing general oversight and administration of Labor & Benefits matters from start to conclusion in GLAM or iManage, working with external counsel and internal team, including benefits, employment disputes, audits, investigations, and counseling matters, etc.* Managing Labor & Benefit settlements, including drafting settlement agreements, coordinating Medicare compliance, approvals, vendor setup, check requests from multiple departments, check receipt and routing, and finalizing dismissals or the necessary closure documents* Managing confidential employment counseling matters, including drafting agreements, working with Human Resources to coordinate approvals & terms, coordinating with clients the distribution of the agreement, executing the agreements, and coordinating payment* Planning amendment reviews (coordinating with counsel for updates requested by the division, approvals, internal review, execution by EVP, retention for plan documents)* Leading claims reporting & data metrics for Labor & Benefits and services as a subject matter expert* Maintaining teams SharePoint sites, MS Team site, templates, etc.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:* Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution* Three (3) years of Legal experience in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:* Previous experience in Labor & Employment law or Human Resources* Certification in an ABA accredited paralegal / legal assistant program* Ability to handle confidential information* Experience with Matter Management software* Strong attention to detail* Excellent organizational skills* Strong written and oral communication skills* Project management experience* Ability to take initiative and follow-up on tasksTravel: May include up to 5%Relocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
