*Securian Financial Group internal position title isEngineering Consultant or Engineering Senior Analyst. The title and salary will be determined based on experience and applied skills.*

Position Summary:

Be part of an exciting, growing platform at Securian Financial as we expand our Salesforce footprint. We currently have an opening for an experienced Developer to provide technical leadership on our Salesforce Platform team. Securian leverages the Salesforce platform for Sales, Service and Marketing, using respective clouds.

Responsibilities:

Identify, design, develop and test solutions leveraging Salesforce in support of the Sales and Service functions

High complexity custom development using a combination of Visualforce, Apex and Lightning Web Components

Develop data integrations with other systems in alignment with our Enterprise Data Strategy

Identify, recommend and implement operational best practices including code reviews, automated testing, and DevOps

Work on a cross-functional team, including other Salesforce Developers Salesforce Admins and Quality Assurance team members

Partner with business and Enterprise Technology teams across the enterprise to drive out solutions that meet business objectives

Mentor, support and otherwise drive success for the Sales and Service Cloud

Support Salesforce COE/Platform Team

Requirements:

8+ years of full stack development experience in Java or other open platform technologies

Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices

Passion for learning and mentoring within the Salesforce platform and technologies

Invested in helping teammates and in being a collaborative team player

Ability to problem solve and think critically

Excellent verbal, and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with building Salesforce Lightning Web Components

Salesforce certifications or significant experience

Experience implementing DevOps for Salesforce

Financial Services industry experience preferred

Experience leading less experienced resources

Ability to perform grasping tasks for 2-4 hours per day
