Job Description:

A growing manufacturer in Saint Paul is seeking a web press operator to safely and efficiently operate machinery and oversee the press crew. This web press operator position offers a weekly paycheck and benefits plus valuable printing experience.

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Wage: $24/hr.

Hours: 6 pm - 6 am, 3 days a week

  Duties of the web press operator:
  
  • Setup and make ready press for upcoming orders
  • Maintain press run speed and minimize material usage waste
  • Follow process control and quality control procedures
  • Read and understand job tickets
  • Communicate efficiently with crew members and management on press performance, specific jobs, and crew performance
  • Manage and train crew members
  • Work with clients in a positive and professional manner
    
    Qualifications of the web press operator:
    
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Press operations skills and understanding of pressroom operating procedures
    • Basic printing knowledge
    • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
