The Logic Technology Development (LTD) organization delivers the
latest process technology innovations to drive Intel's amazing
product roadmap. To maintain the Fast and Furious pace of
technology, Intel must continue to install the latest generation of
equipment into our development factories.
As the Foundry Technology Customer Lead your job responsibilities
will be but not limited to:
+ Serve as the primary Intel process expert and main interface
between Intel Logic Technology Development (LTD), the Intel Foundry
Services (IFS) business unit, and external foundry customers to
drive timely process/design solutions and ensure we achieve
leadership foundry products on Intel's advanced manufacturing
technologies.
+ Provide regular communication and report outs on foundry process
development progress and product health to Intel senior management
and external customers.
+ Support product development on all foundry silicon technology
aspects from process definition, wafer costs, IP and product design
execution, process modeling and design rules, mask tape out,
through silicon manufacturing.
+ Own and manage response to customer requests and issues for
process technology, manufacturing, and volume ramp.
+ Coordinate and manage all customer technology deliverables,
maintain, and track process program and product Plan of Record and
represent plans in internal execution planning.
+ Support customer process technology documentation and training
for design and test execution.
+ Engage in New Product Introduction (NPI) execution, wafer lot
progress, skew handling, device performance, yield, and reliability
and variability investigation for customer designs.
+ Work with Process Integration, Device, and Yield teams to assess
and monitor process compliance to customer technology maturity
metrics spanning fab process yield, electrical performance, and
physical silicon structure CpKs (process capability index) through
development and into High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
+ Work with central factory teams to set product yield and
performance commits, lot throughput time commits, fab wafer
capacity and manufacturing long-range planning, and lot starts for
foundry test chips and products.
+ Collaborate with Process Integration, Device, and Design
Enablement teams to ensure the highest-quality Process Design Kit
(PDK) technology collaterals and support design usage. May include
examination of fab metrology, E-test, and yield process data,
silicon-to-simulation comparison against variability targets,
design rule and layout effect assessments, design rule waiver
reviews, and product parametric correlation.
+ Collaborate with Yield, Device, and product engineering central
teams to drive improvement changes to product design and process to
achieve optimum product yield and performance and support silicon
test/debug.
+ Define and drive foundry customer service best practices, IP/data
management and systems, and improvements to fab and development
operational systems and methodologies.

**Qualifications**
You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below
may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work,
internships, military training, and/or work experience.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Must have a PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials
Science, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Chemical
Engineering, Physics, or related field with 8+ years of
semiconductor industry experience OR,
+ Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science,
Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering,
Physics, or related field with 11+ years of semiconductor industry
experience OR,
+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science,
Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering,
Physics, or related field with 12+ years of semiconductor industry
experience.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 1+ years of semiconductor foundry experience; should include
wafer foundry manufacturing and fabless product development.
+ 1+ years of industrial experience in at least one of the
following technical areas:
+ Semiconductor process integration, device physics, logic,
architecture and integration, and interconnect development on
leading edge technology nodes.
+ IC wafer fabrication process engineering, manufacturing systems,
semiconductor materials, and wafer test (e.g., fabrication areas
may include photolithography and advanced patterning, thin film
deposition, planarization, defect metrology or spectroscopy).
+ Experience of foundry customer interface and owning foundry.
+ New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and trouble-shooting
tape-out issues.
+ Experience interpreting product data including inline, e-test and
SORT data, finding failure root cause and inline indicator and
driving for solutions. Knowledge on inline inspection method,
electrical test structures and SORT programs.
+ Process Design Kit (PDK) silicon model target generation and use,
silicon-to-simulation correlation, and test structure design,
device modeling, and electrical characterization.
+ Program Management experience.

**Working Model**
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows
employees to split their time between working on-site at their
assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the
work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
