Job Description:
Quetica is seeking a full-time Database Developer -to work on
developing enhancements in the Minnesota Refugee Information System
(MIRS) within scope and on time as defined by the program lead.
-The MRIS system was developed to support the administration of
federally funded programs administered through the DHS Resettlement
Programs Office. This system serves as a platform for funded
agencies to collaborate in their work with shared clients and for
RPO staff to report on program outcomes and activities to the
federal DHHS Office of Refugee Resettlement. Focus over this
contract will be on user interfaces and reporting functionality and
development.At a high level, the resource will create fixes to know
system errors, as defined by program staff, develop data reports,
as defined by program staff; and provide knowledge transfer. -This
will ensure all database programs will meet company and performance
requirements. -The work is expected to -be done remotely.Mode of
InterviewInterviews will be conducted remotely via Microsoft
Teams.Project Schedule

10, 2023Anticipated End Date: April 9, 2024Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) years' experience in
Database Development roleA Master's degree substitutes for three
years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree substitutes for two
years, or an Associate's degree substitutes for one yearTwo (2)
engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Database

Design stable, reliable and effective
databaseOptimize and maintain legacy systemsModify databases
according to requests and perform testsSolve database usage issues
and malfunctionsLiaise with developers to improve applications and
establish best practicesGather user requirements and identify new
featuresDevelop technical and training manualsProvide data
management support to usersEnsure all database programs meet
company and performance requirementsResearch and suggest new

Experience customizing complex Web
based case-management applications for government programs. Proven
work experience as a Database developerIn-depth understanding of
data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and
monitoring)Knowledge of software development and user interface web
applicationsHands on experience with some of these database
languages: MySQL, MSSQL, DB2, Oracle, MS SQL or MS
AccessFamiliarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML and
OracleExcellent analytical and organization skillsAbility to
understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving
attitudeAbility to work with program staff to develop technology
