If this is the sort of culture you look for in an organization, we want you as a part of our team.As a Systems Administrator, youll be a point of escalation on a team, utilizing a high level of technical expertise in provisioning, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. In this dynamic role, youll work directly with clients and team members, participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This environment is very fast-paced, and constantly evolving, so youll need to be up for the challenge.JOB DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND COMPENTENCIES: The System Administrator will support Integris Managed Services department. This would include knowledge and skills in some the following areas:Provide technical assistance to clientsRespond using various communication channels including phone, email, remote assistance tools, and in person, on occasion.Research questions using available information resources.Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.Oversee client networks and systems operationsAssist with client and employee on-boarding and off-boarding processPerform software installations utilizing tools, scripts and licensesTroubleshoot network/software issues and set expectations with users for follow up and resolution of issuesIdentify and document incidents accurately and in a timely manner through our ticketing systemPerform software installations utilizing tools, scripts and licensesKeep up to date on user environments, by maintaining documentation and communicating effectively with the end userServe as a technical escalation point for team membersAssist in the development and growth of the teamFollow industry and technology trends and best practicesKeep current on new hardware and software that may benefit the companyAssess new products and systems by evaluating new software to support business strategies, providing proposals, specifications and presentations of new product and configuring needs analysisPass exams to receive major certification credentials (reimbursement provided!)Installations and upgrades are typically outside of normal business hours and occasionally on weekends to minimize impact on clientsEarly or late start shifts may be requiredOn call rotation within department requiredLocal travel may be required for training and site support (up to 50%). JOB QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Job Qualifications: Microsoft certifications, CCNA, VCP or other major certification requiredKnowledge and experience working and troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office suite, and TCP/IP networking and equipmentMac OS knowledge is a plusStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independentlyMust have the ability to keep information confidentialMust be able to work early morning or late evening as required by managerExperience Requirements: 2+ years preferred experience in Windows server administration support
